    Unit 1: Principles of team leading

    This unit will provide your employees with an understanding of various leadership styles, team dynamics and the techniques used to manage a team’s workload.

    Unit 2: Understand business

    This unit will increase your employees’ understanding of organisational structures and the business environment. They will also develop their knowledge of the principles of business planning and finance within an organisation, as well as business report, management responsibilities and accountabilities with an organisation.

    Unit 3: Understand how to communicate work-related information

    In this unit your employees will learn about the principles and techniques of work-related communication both verbally and in writing.

    Unit 4: Understand how to manage performance and conflict in the workplace

    In this unit your employees will develop their knowledge of team performance management and learn how to manage underperformance within a team and conflict in the workplace.

    Unit 5: Principles of equality and diversity in the workplace

    This unit will develop your employees’ understanding of standards and expectations for equality and diversity in the workplace, including the potential consequences for failing to comply with relevant legislation.

    Unit 6: Understand how to develop working relationships with colleagues

    In this unit your employees will learn the principles of effective teamwork and how to buddy a colleague. They will also learn about effective team working, how to give feedback constructively and techniques to resolve team conflicts.

    Unit 7: Understand health and safety procedures in the workplace

    This unit will provide your employees with an understanding of the main health and safety responsibilities and laws affecting the workplace.

    Unit 8: Understand how to develop and deliver a presentation

    In this unit your employees will develop their knowledge about the development and delivery of presentations. They will learn about the advantages and limitations of various forms of media, look at the factors affecting contingency plans and consider different ways to evaluate presentations.
